7 Places You Should Never Put A Feng Shui Water Feature

Most people believe a Feng Shui water feature creates wealth.

It doesn’t.

In fact, a water feature placed in the wrong location can strengthen some of the most challenging energies within a home.

And that’s exactly why one of the most important lessons I learned during my Feng Shui training was this:

Never tell someone where to place a water feature unless you know the Flying Stars chart of that property first.

Here’s why.

There is a specific type of energy that exists within every compass sector of your home.

This means every room contains its own energetic influence.

Your front entrance has one.

Your bedroom has one.

Your living room has one.

Even the outdoor areas surrounding your home have one.

And when running water is introduced into that space, it strengthens that energy.

It amplifies it.

If the energy is prosperous, that’s wonderful.

But if the energy is challenging, the results can be very different.

Because the water doesn’t know the difference between a positive energy and a negative one.

It simply makes it stronger.

This means a water feature placed in the wrong room can strengthen financial setbacks, obstacles, conflict, arguments, litigation, delays, misfortune, and other challenging experiences associated with that energy.

And that’s the problem.

Most people place water features because someone online told them to.

Or because they’ve heard water creates wealth.

Or because a generic Feng Shui article suggested placing one in a certain corner of the home.

But what if that advice is wrong for your property?

What if the room you’re activating contains one of the most challenging energies in Feng Shui?

Instead of increasing prosperity, you may be strengthening the very thing you’re trying to avoid.

That’s why before we talk about where a Feng Shui water feature should go, we need to understand where it should never go.

Why Flying Stars Matter

At this point, you might be wondering:

How do I know what energy exists in each room of my home?

And this is where Flying Stars comes in.

Because if you’re going to place a Feng Shui water feature anywhere in your home, you need to know exactly what you’re strengthening first.

If there was a room in your home that had the potential to strengthen wealth and opportunities, wouldn’t you want to know where it was?

And if there was another room that had the potential to strengthen financial setbacks, conflict, obstacles, or misfortune, wouldn’t you want to avoid activating it?

Of course you would.

That’s why professional Feng Shui consultants don’t start with remedies.

They start with the chart.

Every home has its own unique Flying Stars chart.

Think of it as the energetic blueprint of the property.

Just as every person has a birth chart, every home has its own energetic fingerprint.

And once you know which stars occupy each compass sector, you can determine whether a room should be strengthened or weakened.

Before you continue, I highly recommend creating the Flying Stars chart of your home.

Start With The Free Flying Stars Course

Inside this free course, I’ll show you how to construct the actual Flying Stars chart of your property so you can identify the stars sitting within each compass sector.

Without the chart, you’re simply guessing.

And guessing is never a strategy when it comes to a Feng Shui water feature.

1. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 5 Sector

Never.

Not in a room occupied by the natal Flying Star 5.

Not in a room occupied by the annual Flying Star 5.

And not in a room occupied by the monthly Flying Star 5.

Full stop.

Flying Star 5 is associated with financial setbacks, obstacles, misfortune, delays, disruptions, and major challenges.

A Feng Shui water feature strengthens the star it influences.

Which means a water feature placed in a Flying Star 5 sector strengthens Flying Star 5.

Professional consultants spend their time suppressing Flying Star 5.

Not activating it.

If your water feature is sitting in a Flying Star 5 sector, move it.

2. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 2 Sector

Flying Star 2 is another star that should never be strengthened with water.

Many people are shocked to learn this because they’ve been told that water automatically creates prosperity.

It doesn’t.

Flying Star 2 is a challenging star.

When strengthened, it amplifies the negative qualities associated with the star.

This is not a sector you want activated.

It is a sector you want controlled.

3. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 3 Sector

Flying Star 3 is associated with arguments, conflict, disputes, litigation, and ongoing tension.

When water strengthens Flying Star 3, it strengthens these qualities too.

The result?

More conflict.

More arguments.

More tension.

More disputes.

This is one of the most common mistakes made by homeowners who place water features without understanding the Flying Stars chart.

4. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 4 Sector

Flying Star 4 often catches people off guard.

Many assume it is automatically positive.

It isn’t.

Flying Star 4 should not be strengthened with a Feng Shui water feature.

This is another example of why generic Feng Shui advice fails.

The same recommendation that helps one property can create problems in another.

The chart always comes first.

5. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 6 Sector

Flying Star 6 is not a star that should be strengthened through water activation.

Many people assume that more activation equals better results.

In Feng Shui, that isn’t true.

The goal is to strengthen prosperous stars and weaken challenging stars.

Water placed in the wrong sector creates the wrong outcome.

6. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 7 Sector

Flying Star 7 is another star that should not be activated with water.

Without understanding the chart, there is simply no way to know whether a water feature is helping or harming the property.

This is why professional consultants always identify the active star first.

Only then do they decide whether water is appropriate.

7. NEVER Place A Feng Shui Water Feature In A Flying Star 8 Sector

This surprises many people.

Flying Star 8 is no longer considered a prosperous star.

We are no longer in Period 8.

Yet many outdated Feng Shui articles still recommend activating Flying Star 8 with water.

This advice is no longer appropriate.

Flying Star 8 should not be strengthened with a Feng Shui water feature.

So Where SHOULD A Feng Shui Water Feature Go?

Only in rooms or outdoor sectors where the active wealth star is:

Flying Star 1

Or

Flying Star 9

These are the prosperous wealth stars.

These are the stars professional consultants look for when identifying where a Feng Shui water feature may be appropriate.

Notice I said may.

The chart must still be assessed correctly.

The active wealth star must still be identified correctly.

And the property must still be mapped correctly.

Because the first step is never buying a water feature.

The first step is understanding the chart.

Water does not create wealth.

Water strengthens a star.

And unless you know which star you’re strengthening, you should not be placing a Feng Shui water feature.
